The Selby

This image is changing my life right now. It combines so many things I like: the skeleton costumes from the Karate Kid, an acoustic guitar, and the pièce de résistance...a wizard's hat. Amazing.

It's one of hundreds of great images from a site called The Selby, which is the work of a photographer who captures cool people and their surroundings. Simple premise, but expertly done. I think I'm last to the party on this one, but hey, maybe you haven't heard of it, which makes YOU last to the party. Ha! No, but seriously, check it out. It's pretty sweet.

An Entire Facebook Album In One Photo

You know those people who have waaaaaay too many photos on Facebook? Turns out they might be good for something. These images were created using a single long exposure while flipping through photo albums on Facebook with the camera focused on the computer screen. Pretty frickin' amazing. They were created by Phillip Maisel for a project he titled "A More Open Place", which is a quote from Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg.
