Feeling Minnesota

Thanks to my friend Jasmine for posting this on Instagram. Minnesota maps from Burlesque Design made up of the iconic people, places and things Minnesota is known for. Now to decide which one I want...maybe both.

The Making of the Eames Lounge Chair

I've longed to own this chair for many years, and maybe someday, in many years, I will.

The Electric Silveira Watercraft

Oh man, this is so cool. You're looking at a carbon fiber Silveira Green Samba XRS personal watercraft. It can reach speeds of 65 mph with a hull that weighs in at just 35 lbs. The absolute coolest part, though, is that it's all electric. Zero emissions and undoubtedly very, very quiet. It's designed to be more like a sport bike than a jet ski. It's smaller, you ride it on your knees, and it really responds to the movements of your body (that's...).

So fresh.

Bathroom Of Horror

To promote some action/suspense channel in Hamburg that plays horror films, this bathroom was set up for the lights to go out moments after you enter and replaced with black lights that show a gruesome and bloody crime scene. Among the splatters and puddles of blood, it says "See what others don't see. 13TH STREET. The Action and Suspense Channel." Totally rad. Click here for more.

A Window Into The Future

I actually saw this set up in person a couple years ago, but had forgotten about it until I stumbled across these pictures on a blog. It was something the Red Cross did, I guess to promote...um...the Red Cross...and how it's there for you in a disaster...or something? It was set up across from the Ferry Building and is simply an exact picture of what it's set up in front of, but altered to what things would look like if, say, an earthquake had hit. Pretty sweet. This Is What Camping Is Like

Screw the Snuggie. I want one of these. I mean, look, you can even play the air guitar in the damn thing! And meditate! It's so versatile! I wish I'd known about this a few years ago before I discovered how effective a space heater could be. Click here to learn more.

Reinventing The Bathtub

A pretty awesome concept for a shower and bath unit that spins to go from shower head to bath tub. Click here to learn more.
