Literally just this morning I was listening to MGMT's "Time To Pretend" and something very, very strange happened to the mix of the digital track or my speakers or my computer that made the song cut out several layers of instruments, leaving just a couple tracks of vocals and guitars, and removing a lot of the samples and beats and vocals, resulting in an almost acoustic-sounding version of the song, and I thought to myself, that would make a really great acoustic cover, I should learn it. Then I see homeboy from Sigur Ros has already done this. But his is on the piano, so I can still do the guitar version. Phew!
