After hearing Bon Iver for the first time last week, For Emma, Forever Ago has quickly become one of my favorite albums in recent memory. Perfection from start to finish. It seems every album worth talking about these days has to have a neat little story to go with it, and this one is no exception. It was written and recorded by Justin Vernon in a remote cabin in Northern Wisconsin over 4 months after a long sickness and a bad break-up. Pretty much perfect conditions for great music. Good Summer
